We design, install, commission, handover and maintain a wide selection of technologies.

Air Source Heat Pumps

ASHP are usually placed outside at the side or back of a property, and takes heat from the air and boosts it to a higher temperature using a heat pump. This heat is then used to heat radiators or an underfloor heating system and hot water.

Ground Source Heat Pumps

GSHP act the same as ASHP but the energy is collected from the ground rather than the air. It’s collected from pipes that can be installed vertically in boreholes or horizontally in a field, then transmitted to heat for radiators or underfloor heating and hot water.

Biomass

These boilers work similar to gas or oil boilers but use biomass as a fuel source either (pressed wood) pellets or wood chippings as fuel.

Solar Thermal

These panels work most efficiently when placed on a south faced roof. These produce free hot water from the sun.

Solar Photovoltaic

These panels acts similar to solar thermal panels but produce electricity rather than hot water.

Heat Loss Calculations

These calculate a heat loss by looking at the thermal elements and are necessary to size and install ASHP, GSHP and Biomass Boilers.

We also complete:

  • Heat Loss/Loading Calculation – These calculate a heat loss by looking at the thermal elements and are necessary to size and install ASHP, GSHP and Biomass Boilers.

  • Domestic Energy Assessments – Domestic Energy Assessments produce an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which is a requirement to claim the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Feed-in-Tariff (FIT). They involve assessing a properties energy efficiency and environmental impact.

  • SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) – These assessments are similar to Domestic Energy Assessments but in greater detail. They are required for new build properties and housing developments.
